heart hiding, Scripture Memorization

Owe No Man {heart hiding 16/5}

Owe No Man {heart hiding 16/5}  Heart Hiding is hiding God’s Word in our heart by memorizing whole books of Scripture.  To read more go to the Heart Hiding page.

This is Week 5 of Heart Hiding, memorizing 2 Corinthians 11-13,  where we are memorizing  2 Corinthians chapter 11, verses 9 and 10:

9 And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

2 Corinthians 11:9-10

Paul continues with the idea of not being a burden to the church of Corinth financially.  Paul was a tent maker, accustomed to working his trade to support himself.  I imagine his transparency in this matter did not come easily, yet he was brutally honest.  Being honest is not a quality descriptive of our culture.  Neither is not being in debt.  Whom do you owe?

Don’t forget to review the previous weeks’ verses 🙂

The key to memorization is review!

Review 2 Corinthians 11:1-8.
