heart hiding, Scripture Memorization

Hopeful Boasting {heart hiding 15/46}

Hopeful Boasting {heart hiding 15/46}  Heart Hiding is hiding God’s Word in our heart by memorizing whole books of Scripture.  To read more go to the Heart Hiding page.

This is Week 46 of Heart Hiding, memorizing 2 Corinthians 6-10.  How are you doing, my friend?  Don’t be discouraged.  Just keep working at it, and don’t give up.  I can personally testify to God’s faithfulness in this discipline, under the most trying circumstances.

This is Week 46 of Heart Hiding, memorizing 2 Corinthians 6-10,  where we are memorizing  2 Corinthians chapter 10, verses 14 and 15:

14 For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:

15 Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men’s labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,

2 Corinthians 10:14-15

Paul keeps his authority subject to the working of God in the hearts of His people, rather than exaggerate his own credentials (measure).

God gives the increase.  Our hope is in God.

This is the final chapter for 2015 — can you believe it???  Only one week left, three more verses!!

If you have a comment or question, please use the comment box at the end of the post or the contact form at the top of the page.

Don’t forget to review the previous weeks’ verses 🙂

The key to memorization is review!

Review 2 Corinthians 6:1-18; 7:1-16; 8:1-24; 9:1-15; 10:1-13.

Have a great week working on these verses.  See you next Sunday.  God bless.
