Let the Joy Overflow

There’s a clear fountain flowing from the bright throne above, and its waters are glowing with the sunshine of love;  Take the blest consolation, which the Lord will bestow, take the cup of salvation, let the joy overflow.

Many hearts need the story, are athirst for His grace;  go to them with his glory shining out from your face;  Tell of Jesus your Savior!  If His mercies you know, show the light of His favor, let the joy overflow.

Be our lives freely yielded to the Savior’s command;  by His care ever shielded and upheld by His hand;  In the pathways of sadness, sweetest lilies may grow;  let us sow seeds of gladness, let the joy overflow.

Chorus:  O the joy!  With this wondrous salvation be our hearts all aglow;  O the joy!  Let the blessing run over, and joy overflow.

Top 10 7 Posts of 2015 {blog}

Just a little something new, to ring out the old year.

First, a note of explanation.  The WORSHIP category is excluded from the first list, for good reason.  The WORSHIP category, including all BIBLE posts, Bible Reading Schedule, Vessels for the Master’s Use, and heart hiding posts and Scripture Memorization page, are the most widely read.

So you could say this list is the second ten posts, not the top.  But for the sake of not causing confusion .. here are the Top 10 Posts of 2015 (not including the BIBLE category).

Here’s what you’ve been reading in 2015.  This list only includes posts written in 2015.

Inspiring Hymns #297

Joy Unspeakable

I have found His grace is all complete, He supplieth ev’ry need;  While I sit and learn at Jesus’ feet, I am free, yes, free indeed.

I have found the pleasure I once craved, it is joy and peace within;  What a wondrous blessing!  I am saved from the awful gulf of sin.

I have found that hope so bright and clear, living in the realm of grace;  Oh, the Savior’s presence is so near, I can see His smiling face.

I have found the joy no tongue can tell, how its waves of glory roll!  It is like a great overflowing well, springing up within my soul.

Chorus:  It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, full of glory, full of glory;  It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, Oh, the half has never yet been told.
