heart hiding, Scripture Memorization

Approved of God {heart hiding 15/2}

Approved of God {heart hiding 15/2}.  Paul’s priority was to give no offense to the ministry of the gospel, no matter what his circumstances.  These verses don’t say, but rather imply, the importance of God’s approval in the apostle Paul’s life.

Heart Hiding is hiding God’s Word in our heart by memorizing whole books of Scripture.  To read more go to the Heart Hiding page.

I’m so excited to have the heart hiding image at the top of each post (as a featured image).  Kudos to this new blog theme, Selah!  What do you think of it?

This is Week 2 of Heart Hiding, memorizing 2 Corinthians 6-10,

Giving no offense in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

2 Corinthians 6:3-5

Approved of God should be foremost in our thinking and actions.  I have to admit that I fail in this area.  These verses surely humbled me, this list of circumstances which are extreme compared to any of my own, sending me to my knees.

Aren’t these great words of encouragement for daily living?

Have a great week working on these verses.  See you next Sunday.  God bless.
