heart hiding, Scripture Memorization

Workers together with God {heart hiding 15/1}

Workers together with God {heart hiding 15/1}   To distinguish from week 1 of 2014, the weeks will be designated by the year/the week number, hence 15 (2015)/1 (1st week).

Heart Hiding is hiding God’s Word in our heart by memorizing whole books of Scripture.  To read more go to the Heart Hiding page.

I’m so excited to have the heart hiding image at the top of each post (as a featured image).  Kudos to this new blog theme, Selah!  What do you think of it?

This is Week 1 of Heart Hiding, memorizing 2 Corinthians 6-10,

We then as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee:  behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

2 Corinthians 6:1-2

Workers together with God?  Isn’t that just amazing?!!  God bestowed His grace upon us that we might labor with Him.  Work?  yes, work.  Not be entertained and coddled.  Ouch!

Have a great week working on these verses.  See you next Sunday.  God bless.

  1. Being Woven says:

    “…beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.” God’s grace is such a precious gift and one that I truly do not want to receive in vain. To let is slip on by without my open hands.
    Thus, hiding His Word in our hearts is a blessing, yet one that I struggle with in the memory-retention department. 2015 is new and a time to begin again.
    Glad I came by, Joyce.
