Faith Walk and Heart Hiding {Week 43}

Faith Walk and Heart Hiding {Week 43}.  By the calendar it is Week 47.  We are in the final chapter for the year.

How about you?  How is your memorization going?

I confess that this chapter is a bit difficult for me to wrap my brain around, as my mother is in her last days.  Memorizing is an exercise of the mind and spirit, but my emotions are interfering just now.  On the other hand, how appropriate these verses are to my life.  Isn’t God just so good?!!

This is week 43 of  Heart Hidingwhere we are memorizing 2 Corinthians 1-5.  Paul continues his theme of the Christian’s earthly and eternal dwellings, with a reminder that we live with eternity in view.

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

2 Cor. 5:6-7

Don’t forget to review 2 Corinthians 1:1-24, 2 Corinthians 2:1-17,  2 Corinthians 3:1-18, 2 Corinthians 4:1-18, and 2 Corinthians 5:1-5 regularly.  Review is key to keeping it fresh.

The best way to review verses is in Scripture Typer, which reminds you to review previously learned portions on a regular basis.  I find that I often need more frequent review for better retention.

Please remember to share this amazing app with your friends.

trusting God and Heart Hiding, scripture memorization

The heart hiding {Scripture Memorization}  page has links to all of the posts. It is under the BIBLE tab, which is under the WORSHIP tab, which is just below the header (WordWorks). The heart hiding page now has links to every heart hiding post.

We would be blessed and encouraged if you have a moment to share in the comments how God is using His Word in your life.

Faith Walk.  This is Week 43 of Heart Hiding, Scripture memorization, which is posted on Sundays throughout 2014.   In case you missed  the previous posts, you can find them here:
