Sealed by God and Heart Hiding {Week 11}

How are you doing at memorizing Scripture?   I sure did forget all about posting the memory verses, didn’t I?  There’s a bit of catching up to do, although I am working a few weeks behind.  How about you?

The heart hiding {Scripture Memorization} page was updated this week.  You may want to check it out.  It is located  under the BIBLE tab, which is under the WORSHIP tab, which is just below the header (WordWorks).  The heart hiding page now has every heart hiding post linked to it, so that you no longer have to scroll through them all (and wait for them to load).

This is week 11 of  Heart Hidingwhere we are memorizing 2 Corinthians 1-5.  Week 11 is about being Sealed by God and having the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Do you like our flowers?  This was the bouquet on the table of the bed and breakfast where my ‘ocean friend’ in Massachusetts took me out to breakfast just about a year ago, on my 2013 Road Trip.

trusting God and Heart Hiding, scripture memorization

This week’s Heart Hiding Scripture Memorization verses are foundational to our faith in God through His Son, Jesus Christ.  I am impressed over and over by the Apostle Paul’s consistency in naming the Son of God, Jesus Christ, in nearly every reference to Him.  These verses also refer to the Spirit of God.

      Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ,

and hath anointed us, is God;

Who hath also sealed us,

and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

2 Cor. 1:21-22 (KJV)

If you have a moment to share with others how God is using His Word in your life,

we would all be blessed and encouraged.

This is Week 11 of Heart Hiding, Scripture memorization, which will be posted on Sundays throughout 2014.   In case you missed  the previous posts, you can find them here:
