The Promises of God and Heart Hiding {Week 10}

Here we are in Week 10 of Heart Hiding, our Scripture Memorization of 2 Corinthians 1-5.  We’ve missed a few posts, so will include those verses here as well.  I am now a week behind in my memorizing, due to reviewing other books.  I don’t worry about getting behind.  I can usually catch up again.  Just keep going, and don’t worry about where you’re at as long as you’re working at it.

The Promises of God and Heart Hiding, Scripture memorization

March 6, 2014

Call me delinquent, for I am that.  Now it is time to catch up.  A couple of posts ago {here} I said I didn’t know what to tell you.  I was stuck and couldn’t seem to get going.  Now I am unstuck, and I am going!  And I think changing my Bible Reading Plan to monthly rather than weekly will help.  Plus I pushed myself to get all of the pdfs done through June, so I won’t have to do them again while I’m working my day job.

For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;

As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.

2 Corinthians 1:13-14  {Week 7}

And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;

And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea.

2 Corinthians 1:15-16 {Week 8}

When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?

But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.

2 Corinthians 1:17-18 {Week 9}

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

2 Corinthians 1:19-20 {Week 10}

This is Week 10 of Heart Hiding, Scripture memorization, which we will be posting on Sundays throughout 2014.   In case you missed  the previous posts, you can find them here:
