getting your legs under you

{This post is reworked from when it was published on the 18th of January, 2014.}

This is just for fun.  Perhaps you have already seen these.  To me they are worth viewing multiple times.  There’s something soothing in watching God’s creatures function as He created them to.  He must get the greater glory when we function as He intended us to as well.

The first video had almost 5K views in two days, and almost 6K views in less than four days.  It’s short, and fun to watch.

Zebra stripes just amaze me.  The San Diego Zoo and Safari Park are amazing.  Babies are amazing.  This baby is learning to get his legs under him, and doing a very good job of it.  May we all do as well, by God’s abundant grace!

{I like to click on the symbol at the bottom on the right-hand side of the video, for full screen.  The effect is so much more watching it in full screen.}

This second video is a baby giraffe, also at the San Diego Zoo. She was born on December 22, 2013, and was kept in a ‘playpen’ for the first ten days. This video shows her being introduced to the herd in her first venture around her exhibit.

How does such a large animal (adult) move so gracefully?
Is it possible for humans to learn from watching animal movement?
